You think you know which way it is going to go, but trust me, you don’t. The romance between her and Keir is very slow in forming, both physically and emotionally, which is part of what makes it so good.

Sure, it’s a alright read, but it’s not something I’d write home about. The main character can come off as a little unbelievable good at times, but I did feel the need to zip through in one night, so that’s always a good sign: Elizabet is just the daughter of the former king, half-sister to the current king, and an intelligently gifted healer.
She’s not a political statement and she doesn’t have magical powers. The world building and warpruze characterization create a novel that is intelligent, exciting and fun to read. Keir is a breathtaking hero; you will never look at a warlord the same way again.

Mass Market Paperbackpages. Warprize is told from Xylara’s Point Of View. I truly can say that seeing how the Warlord started working with the conquered people. Because of her royal status, and without any vaufhan support from her half-brother, she has had to prove herself even more and does so successfully with her passion and dedication to her profession.

This book was great. He treats her with respect, and lets her heal others, and roam the camp. She can’t usurp her brother or negotiate a peace–b.
